About this opportunity

Provides technical leadership for animal-health and zoonotic-disease surveillance under the STRIDES project in Cameroon, supporting One Health surveillance systems, government coordination, technical guidance, training materials and monitoring of infectious-disease surveillance activities.

Requirements

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree and a master's degree in public health, epidemiology or a related field; typically at least 6 years of relevant national experience in epidemiology, animal-health programmes, infectious-disease control or health analysis. Requires experience with Global Health Security, One Health and infectious-disease surveillance, and fluency in both French and English.
